Craig H. Hansen

President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Hansen has been President of Zargon Energy Trust and its predecessor company Zargon Oil & Gas Ltd. since Zargon’s initial public offering in 1993. Mr. Hansen obtained a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta in 1978 and is a professional engineer registered with APEGGA. Mr. Hansen was employed with Dome Petroleum Ltd. (1978-1980) and NRG Engineering Ltd. (1980-1984). He founded C.H. Hansen Engineering Ltd., an engineering consulting company, which provided reservoir, exploitation, and acquisition engineering services during the period 1984 through 1993. Mr. Hansen is a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) where he serves as the Chair of the Fiscal Executive Policy Group.
Henry J. Baird

Vice President, Reservoir Engineering
Mr. Baird joined Zargon Energy Trust in June 2006 as Vice President, Exploitation. Mr. Baird graduated from the University of Alberta with a B.Sc. Geology (Honors) degree in 1973. After working for several years as a petroleum geologist with Westcoast Petroleum, he returned to the University of Alberta and obtained an M.Sc. degree in Petroleum Engineering in 1978. Mr. Baird has previously held engineering positions in a number of companies including Shell Canada, Dome Petroleum, Canadian Hunter Exploration. Since 1987, Mr. Baird has been consulting as a petroleum engineer and geologist through both
his own company and APA Petroleum Engineering.
Brent C. Heagy

Brent Heagy graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a bachelor of Commerce degree in 1982 and received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1985. Prior to joining Zargon in September 2004, he was Chief Risk Officer for EnCana Corporation in Calgary, Chief Financial Officer for PanCanadian Energy Corporation's US operations based in Houston, Texas and worked in public accounting practice with Coopers & Lybrand in Calgary.
Brian G. Kergan

Vice President, Corporate Development and Alberta Plains South
Brian Kergan joined Zargon Energy Trust in 2007 as Vice President, Corporate Development and Reserves. Prior to joining Zargon, he held a business development role with West Energy Ltd, and before that held various engineering and management positions with Anderson Exploration from 1992 to 2001 and Devon Canada from 2001 to 2004. Mr. Kergan has held reservoir engineering positions with D&S Consultants and earlier with Imperial Oil in Calgary. He graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Chemical Engineering in 1978, and is a professional engineer registered with APEGGA and a member of SPE.
Mark I. Lake

Mark Lake joined Zargon in 1998 as a Consultant to the Corporation until September 1999, when he was appointed to the position of Vice President, Exploration. Mark Lake has a B.A. (Hons) in Geology and Geography from the University of Keele, U.K. (1977) and an M.Sc. in Applied Geophysics from the University of Birmingham, U.K. (1978). He was employed by Gulf Canada Resources Ltd. from 1980 to 1984, and then spent the next 13 years working for Tricentrol Resources Canada Ltd. and its successor companies Norwich Resources Canada Ltd. and UMC Resources Canada Ltd. From 1996 to 1997 he was the Vice President of Exploration for Richland Petroleum Corporation. He is a Professional Geophysicist registered with APEGGA.
Kevin C.Y. Lee

Kevin Lee joined Zargon Energy Trust in 2009 as Vice President, Alberta Plains North. Mr. Lee graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in Metals and Materials Engineering in 1991, and is a professional engineer registered with APEGGA. Prior to joining Zargon, he was Vice President of Engineering at Trafalgar Energy, and before that he was Vice President of Engineering at Luke Energy. Mr. Lee has also held management and engineering positions with Encana, Star Oil and Gas, and Amoco Canada.
Daniel A. Roulston

Vice President, Engineering and Williston Basin
Dan Roulston obtained a Diploma in Petroleum Resources Technology from N.A.I.T. in 1977 and a B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta in 1983. He is a professional engineer registered
with APEGGA. Mr. Roulston was employed from 1977 to 1979 in the Development Geology Department with Chevron Standard and at Norcen Energy Resources Limited from 1983 to 1993. Mr. Roulston joined Zargon in 1994 as the Engineering Manager and in 1997 was promoted to Vice President, Production of the Corporation.
Lorne D. Schwetz

Vice President, Land
Lorne Schwetz joined Zargon in 2005 as a Senior Landman and was appointed to Vice President, Land in 2007. He obtained his B.A. in History and Geography from the University of Calgary in 1994. Mr. Schwetz started in land with Canadian Natural Resources Limited (1995-2003) holding several positions in the land department. Additionally, he has worked at Talisman Energy and APF Energy before its merger with StarPoint Energy Trust. Mr. Schwetz is an active member of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen.
Al D. Thorsen

Vice President, Operations
Al Thorsen joined Zargon in 2007 as the Alberta Plains Production Manager and was appointed to the Vice President, Operations in April of 2009. He obtained a Diploma in Mineral Resource Technology from N.A.I.T. in 1982 and a B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from the Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology in 1986. Mr. Thorsen previously held senior management positions at Orleans Energy Ltd. and Rio Alto International Inc. He is a Professional Engineer registered with APEGGA.
